Garrison Nunn grew up in the small town of Montgomery, Texas with music in his life from the beginning. Garrison has always been one to chart his own path and has found success along the way. Influenced by artists in a variety of genres, he's found his unique sound in country music and pays tribute to the music that has shaped him. He shares his music at local music venues, festivals, and private events. Skilled at playing guitar and sharing his vocals, Garrison's original music and familiar cover songs offer something for everyone.
After graduating from high school in Texas, Garrison packed his bags and headed to Nashville. While studying at Belmont University and working toward degrees in Biology & Chemistry and a Doctor of Pharmacy, he is also experiencing all that Nashville has to offer in the music world.
Focused mostly on acoustic performances for his audience, Garrison adds a full band of talented musicians to the mix for some of his shows. In Nashville, he's busy recording new music in the studio and can be found playing in some of the honky tonks on Broadway and also playing at local songwriter rounds. While back at home in Texas at different times throughout the year, he plays at venues in the area. Garrison Nunn and his band recently played at Dosey Doe Big Barn to a full house and earned a spot to play at the Big As Texas festival in May 2024...you won't want to miss it!

BIG AS TEXAS FESTIVAL: MAY 10-12, 2024
Congratulations to @calebyoungmusic and @garrisonnunn for winning the 2024 Big As Texas Throwdown! Artists traveled from across the country to compete in a series of performances over two evenings at the @doseydoecoffee for a chance to play one of our BIG stages. We were so happy to host so many great artists and the competition was VERY stiff. Every artist brought their A++ game and the full house at both nights were ecstatic. We would like to thank all of those who entered the competition and congratulate the winners. Big As Texas festival is an independently-produced Country and Americana music festival making its debut at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds outside of Houston, Texas on May 10-12, 2024.
With aspirations as large as the Lone Star State itself, our new three-day outdoor celebration features a world-class music lineup, plus dozens of Texas vendors and artisans alongside custom exhibitions, immersive art installations, live-fire grilling, carnival games, and more for attendees of all ages.
